Lil'S On The Waterfront Hotel - York

Had a surprisingly great stay! The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the river. The breakfast was a highlight—best cauliflower cheese ever!

the room is reasonably priced. the price is just right - us$ 140. very attentive and hospitable staff provides a good service. it boasts fantastic, incredible location very close to town centre, centre & christmas markets and york christmas market.

My room was neat, good priced and in wardrobe along with extra heater. It offered excellent service and excellent food too. They had a friendly check-in.

Consider requesting a riverside room for enchanting views, but be prepared for some nighttime noise from the quay.

Its deluxe room was immaculate with a very clean bathroom, a coffee machine, for example.

Suitable for one night. Gorgeous venue, fab food, marvellous location on waterfront. Competent staff and gorgeous breakfast with a good choice of options. Location very close to river and food served, the centre of the building and theatre. And a 10-minute walk from York Minster.

Cleanliness needs serious attention!!! A thorough deep clean could elevate the experience. Noise from nearby pubs can be overwhelming at night!!! It would be advantageous to implement better soundproofing strategies.

The warm welcome from the manager was a highlight, and the lovely river view from our room added to the charm. Clean and well-maintained, the king-size bed provided a comfortable night's rest. The noise from the quay was noticeable, and the lack of parking was inconvenient. The absence of breakfast on-site was a drawback, though there were dining options nearby.

Just a heads up, the room had a bit of a musty odor when we arrived, but it went away after we opened a window. 🌟

The view from our room was fine, we could see the river, it really set the mood for our stay! The staff were genuinely nice.
